Description
A sweet, salty, nutty, and spicy peanut sauce that pairs perfectly with your favourite stir fry or noodle bowl (like this peanut tofu noodle bowl). It’s also great as a dip for veggies, tofu, shrimp, or summer rolls.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup smooth peanut butter
- 1/3 cup low sodium soy sauce
- 1/4 cup rice vinegar
- 3 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp hoisin
- 1 tbsp sriracha (or chilli paste)
- 1 tsp ginger
- 1 tsp garlic
Instructions
- In a small food processor or blender, combine all the ingredients until smooth. If you don’t have a small food processor or blender, mince the garlic and ginger and mix all ingredients together in a jar until smooth.
- Pour over your favourite stir fry, noodle bowl, or use as a dip for veggies, tofu, shrimp, or summer rolls!
- Store any leftovers in an airtight jar in the fridge for up to a week.
Notes
*Feel free to substitute another nut or seed butter for the peanut butter (almond butter, cashew butter, sunflower seed butter).
For Gluten Free: Use a gluten free soy-sauce alternative such as tamari or coconut aminos.
